Daniels Dream..... Daniel had a dream in which God told him the future with such astounding accuracy that "scholars" refused to believe the account was written when it was claimed to be written. Proof of the date of manuscript of Daniel now tells without a doubt it was written in the time of the Babylonian Empire. Imagrey of a ram, a 'he-goat', and a four-horned goat represent the empires that would come to power after Daniel's time. Daniels dream proved to be accurate as the Greeks, the Medes & Persians, and finally the Roman Empire came to power in just the order God had told him. Prophecy of Christ in the Old Testament The Old Testament was written by many different authors over many years, yet one single idea unites them all- the prophecy of a coming savior, messiah.. the Jews still wait for him.
Prophecy of Christ Fulfilled in the New Testament The person of Jesus fulfilled the prophecies when he came as God to the earth in a flesh- body to take sin upon himself. The thin red line is the blood of Christ that weaves a constant message throughout the entire Bible.
Three Jewish Feasts 1.The Passover in which a spotless lamb was slain, blood was washed over the entrance to the house to save from the angel of death 2. The Feast of Unleavened Bread directly after the Passover in which they are to eat only unleavened bread. Leaven represents sin, and we partake of Christ who is the sinless bread of life. 3. The Feasts of the First Fruits was a celebration of the firstfruits of the barley harvest. It occures on the Sunday, three days after the passover. Is it a coincidence that Christ was crucified on the Passover, slain for us to conquer death, and then rose on the day of the First Fruits Feast? What was God telling us when he gave the Jews these feast to observe? 1 Corinthians 15: 20. But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23. But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming.
Psalm 91 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Present Hollow Cost This was in response to a series of suicide bombings that were happening in Israel on a daily basis. The enemy is still trying to wipe out the Jewish people.
