My name is Sharon McCoy, I was born in Tulsa, OK in 1979.  I now live in Oklahoma City, where I graduated from Oklahoma City University in 2002 with a BFA.  I work with two groups doing murals, and also do them on my own.  I get to travel all over the U.S. and have been to the tiniest towns in Oklahoma.  I have had many art shows here in Oklahoma, and have been featured in group shows in both New York and Chicago.  Much of my fine art focuses on spiritual concepts, eschatology, and the relationship of Jewish rituals to the Christian faith.  My main body of work is abstract and contemporary, but I am exploring the human body and expression, as well as grand landscape painting at this time, and plan to combine these elements once I get a hold of them!
